COMPOSER/WRITER/DIRECTOR

Philip comes from a strong musical background dating back decades, early notoriety came in the mid-90s in India as part of the popular duo “Phil and Jerry.” In 2014 he got a strong role in a feature film called One Less God. He later partnered with well know playwright Adam Szurdrich and wrote the Music for their One-Woman show called Bachelor Girl in 2017 which played to sold-out nights at the Seymour Centre. During this time Philip was actively writing and self-producing a web series, however, due to the pandemic production ceased in March 2020. After suffering family and professional loss Phil embarked on the journey to write Wrong in all the Right ways. With strong skill sets in composition, production, and creative writing he has maintained a steady work ethic and together with the assistance of a small team is slowly bringing the show to fruition.

VOCALIST/PRODUCER

Leanne comes from a strong theatre background. Her credits include A streetcar named desire, August Osage County, Boy from Oz, 9 to 5, Steel Magnolias, and Bachelor Gal. In all her stage renditions Leanne has a strong and bold stage presence in her acting and vocal performances. Her talents extend beyond the stage, Leanne has also appeared in several shows for the small screen and is very adept at working both in front and behind the camera. She has a methodical yet creative approach to line production and production design. She has been a driving force behind WIATRW and has lent both her voice and acting talent to the character of BETHANY. She is a strong advocate for mental health awareness and support and has a strong resolve to bring these to the forefront through the world of stage and screen.

VOCAL ARRANGER & CHORUS MASTER

Karina Gough is a trained singer, singing teacher, vocal coach, choir conductor, music arranger for voices, with a long musical life in Melbourne, the QLD Sunshine Coast, and Sydney. She has coached entire casts of full productions of West Side Story, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and The Sound Of Music. Karina has thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with composer Philip John on this stunning new musical: she has composed vocal harmonies for the major company songs, contributed ideas for vocal lines of a few of the solo songs, and coached soloists for song recordings.
